Description:
The Refining/Petrochemical Consultant will work with a team of
consultants, engineers, analysts and others to provide management and
engineering consulting services to clients with interests in the
petroleum refining, petrochemical, natural gas and/or related
industries.Location in Plano area.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include analysis of oil and gas and/or
petrochemical technologies and facilities for Independent Engineer
reviews, managing and/or providing owner’s engineer services
relative to energy facilities and technologies, reviewing operations
and maintenance of facilities, asset valuation services and other
related activities.
Qualifications:
· Bachelors degree in Chemical
Engineering
· Excellent oral and written
communication
skills
· Ability to work
independently and as part of
a team
· 5-7 years experience
involving three or more
of the following areas in the petroleum refining or petrochemicals
industry:
o Process operations technical support,
troubleshooting problems, devising and implementing technically and
economically feasible solutions
o Process modeling using commercially
available
simulator(s)
o Development and/or modification of
operating and
maintenance procedures and/or process unit and/or equipment operating
guidelines
o Economic analysis and optimization of
plant or unit
operations
o Development of production forecasts and
operating
plans, especially using LP models
o Supervision of unit or area operations
o Major project engineering and/or
construction
management
o Capital budget development including
yield
projections, capital and O&M cost estimates, and pro forma
income
and cash flow statement development
