Job
Description:
The position is for a senior software engineer that will be responsible
for software design and development. The ideal candidate will have
previous experience working in multi-disciplinary teams on complex
electro-mechanical systems. The position is for a dynamic,
hands-on engineer who can work well as part of a larger team.
Responsibilities:
· Develop software for
feasibility prototypes during product development
· Design, develop, and test
software for a highly integrated class II medical device
· Participate in definition of
overall software requirements and specifications
· Design, test and document in
accordance with medical design control regulations
· Work directly with other
team members, including mechanical, electrical, and other software
engineers
Qualifications:
· BS CS, EE or related degree
- Advanced degrees desirable.
· Minimum 3-7 years SW
development experience
· Strong analytic &
problem solving skills
· C and C++ programming
· Matlab
· Good oral & written
communication skills
· Embedded development
experience
Preferred
Experience:
· Experience
with FDA regulations and medical device design controls
· Experience with complex
electro-mechanical systems
· Experience with robot
control system implementation
· Experience in start-up
environment
· TI DSP development
· CAN bus experience
